Healthy fruit frappes (or spinach and fruit smoothies) are great for kids – they will love the taste and won’t notice any of the healthy spinach hidden inside each of these delicious, blended cold drinks.
You can use a limitless number of variations when it comes to berries, fruits, and juices that you can add to this recipe – you’ll really enjoy mixing them up each time and coming out with interesting new drinks.
Here is Dianne’s basic recipe for a healthy fruit frappe with loads of spinach:
♨ 1 Frozen Banana
♨ Berries or Fruit
♨ Orange or Pineapple or Apple Juice base (enough to blend)
♨ 2-4 cups Fresh, Raw Spinach
♨ Maple syrup or Stevia for sweetening
♨ Ice
